In the heart of Deggia, a small hamlet nestled among the Brenta Dolomites, we have breathed new life into an old farmhouse that once housed two sisters, affectionately known as “the Blessed Ones.” With needle and thread, they prepared the trousseaus for the village brides, weaving tradition and prayer into every stitch. We chose to preserve the distinctive features of the local architecture, blending them with modern solutions and cutting-edge technology. The result is a place where history meets comfort, and authenticity merges seamlessly with wellbeing.
You will be welcomed into six unique rooms, each with its own character, tastefully furnished to offer you an intimate and relaxing stay with the most exclusive comforts. There are places that speak to the soul. Places immersed in nature that capture our hearts at first sight. Places where, with all our senses, we feel we have truly arrived.
Here, mountain life flows timelessly, through seasons that follow one another in gentle succession. Stepping out of our little house in the woods and into the embrace of the green meadows and the majestic peaks of the Dolomites is an experience of silence, deep breaths, and freedom.

Clad entirely in wood, from floor to ceiling, our rooms offer a warm, natural atmosphere. Surrounded by the greenery of the forest, they are the perfect place to rediscover silence, tranquility, and truly restorative rest — a place where you can feel an integral part of nature.
Our Philosophy…
Il Soffio was born from a simple yet powerful image: a gentle breath of wind passing through the forest, moving the leaves with quiet grace. It is nature’s breath — felt without ever imposing, guiding those who listen and welcoming those who pause.
This is where our name comes from: a place surrounded by greenery, where every room embraces the silence and light of the forest, and every awakening carries the scent of calm and simplicity. Il Soffio is also our kitchen. A light and thoughtful gesture, like that of someone who knows the flavors of tradition and lets them speak with the freshness of new ideas. Simone and Giorgio bring to the table a vibrant cuisine, shaped by the seasons, the land, and their passion.

Our small restaurant offers an authentic cuisine, made of genuine flavors and zero-mile ingredients. We use local produce and, following the seasons, serve simple, wholesome dishes that are rich in the character of our land.

How to reach us
Il Soffio is set in a secluded spot in the heart of the forest, yet it’s easily accessible by car. We are located about 10 minutes from Molveno and San Lorenzo Dorsino.
After passing through San Lorenzo Dorsino towards Molveno, continue along the main road until you reach the hamlet of Nembia. From there, take the turnoff for Deggia and drive for about 3 km. Just before you reach the little Church of Deggia, follow the signs and take the left turn. In just a few meters, you will arrive at Il Soffio.
