In the Heart of the Forest

We are in the very heart of the Brenta Dolomites, surrounded by lush woods, high mountain pastures, and trails scented with resin and silence — just a few kilometers from one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, San Lorenzo Dorsino.

Deggia is a small hamlet in the municipality of San Lorenzo Dorsino, located at about 800 meters above sea level at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites. Surrounded by forests and meadows, it retains an intimate, secluded atmosphere. At the center of the village stands the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Caravaggio, an important pilgrimage site for the local community.

Several hiking trails start from Deggia — including the Cammino di San Vili — linking the hamlet to nearby Ranzo and Nembia, and offering breathtaking views over the valley and the pristine nature all around.
